MEET THE FOUNDER

I was born an artist. Studied film in Chicago, spent nearly a decade working in production in LA, then transitioned to operations and HR at a major media company. That is where recruiting found me. But the truth is, every job I have ever had came through relationships and reputation—not applications, not cold outreach. Trust built over time.
Since then, I have placed C-suite executives and built teams I am incredibly proud of—from major Fortune 500s to founder-led startups who trusted me with their first critical hire. The artists I represent at the management level trust me because they have seen how I work. We have built real relationships, sometimes over years. My network includes the people who write your favorite commercials, edit the films you love, and create the campaigns you share. I know them because I met them in real life—working alongside them or through recruiting projects that became genuine friendships.
My heart lies in nonprofit and mission-driven work, so I have always served on nonprofit boards—including five years with Covenant House California. Lately, I have been building relationships on a global scale, expanding the work to London and beyond.
I built Gilchrist & Ivy because I believe this work is deeply personal. It is human to human. When you get the hire right, it shapes culture, protects mission, and moves everything forward. I lead with honesty and integrity, and people know they can count on me.

Jaclyn is a New York native with over a decade of experience in marketing, digital strategy, and client experience. Her work spans both the technical and creative sides of the industry; she loves project management, scalable systems, marketing operations, brand positioning, and strategic partnerships.
She works closely with fashion, lifestyle, and emerging brands to develop internal systems and external collaborations that feel natural, thoughtful, and aligned for everyone involved. Jaclyn is known for bringing organization and clarity to creative environments and for helping ideas move from concept to execution. She splits her time between New York and Switzerland, working with talent and brands across international markets.
Jaclyn is a New York–based creative who splits her time between the Hudson Valley and Switzerland. Her work moves across brand strategy, strategic partnerships, digital systems, and cultural positioning, with branding as the red thread. Drawn to fashion, music, and the mechanics of social influence, she approaches everything with a sense of taste and intention. When she’s not building, she’s watching a movie or catching up on every HBO and Netflix show ever made.

It depends on the role, but most executive searches take 6-10 weeks from kickoff to offer acceptance. For mid-level or project-based roles, we often move faster. The timeline also depends on how quickly you want to move through interviews and how specialized the role is. We work with a very small number of artists at this level because the partnership is intensive and deeply personal.
